On the morning of May 12th, the donation of cultural relics from Wang Heng & Feng Jie and the opening ceremony of "Immortal Cultural Relics - Exhibition of Exquisite Cultural Relics Donated by Wang Heng & Feng Jie" was held in the Heyuan City Museum. Mr. Wang Heng and his wife, Ms. Feng Jie, donated 1,002 pieces of cultural relics and documents to the Heyuan City Museum in the name of Guangzhou DSPPA Audio Museum.
Mr. Wang Heng is an outstanding one in the audiovisual and public address system engineering industry. Out of love for traditional Chinese culture, he is keen on collection and thus builds Guangzhou DSPPA Audio Museum and Guangzhou DSPPA Video History Museum. Besides, he has donated more than 5,000 pieces of precious cultural relics and documents to Guangzhou Thirteen Hongs Museum, making a positive contribution to the promotion of excellent traditional Chinese culture and Lingnan culture.
More than 1,000 cultural relics and documents donated to the Heyuan City Museum are treasures he has collected for many years, covering potteries and porcelains, jades and stone implements, metalware, stone inscriptions, coins and documents from the Neolithic Age to the Republican Period, enjoying a high level of historical, artistic and scientific value, as well as display and exhibition value.
In view of the great support and outstanding contribution of Mr. Wang Heng to Heyuan city's cultural and museum undertakings, Cao Jianzhong, the vice Mayor, presented Mr. Wang Heng with a commendation plaque and a honorary certificate on behalf of the Heyuan municipal government; and Zeng Yongzhen, the Party secretary and director of the Heyuan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, awarded Mr. Wang Heng a letter of appointment as the honorary curator of Heyuan City Museum.
In order to give full play to the role of the cultural relics in educating people with history, the city museum selected more than 220 cultural relics to plan "Immortal Cultural Relics - Exhibition of Exquisite Cultural Relics Donated by Wang Heng & Feng Jie", which is set as a permanent exhibition on the second floor of Heyuan City Museum.
As a national enterprise, DSPPA is willing to donate the cultural relics and documents to the Heyuan City Museum for exhibition and research, and further develop their value on the promotion of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
